I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in graphic design from Ball State University. I have lived all my life in Indiana with the exception of some years in my 20’s on the East Coast. My background includes illustration, toy design, and exhibit design.
My quilts are constructed of fabrics from clothing and home textiles that have become disconnected from their original purpose. I work with fabric because it is nearly endlessly adaptable.
My beloved and overgrown Indiana backyards (past and present) inspire the colors and imagery in my work. I aim to reveal in my quilts, a connection to a larger sense of home.
